Nadia’s Promise was founded to honor a life rooted in compassion, dignity, and service. Today, we are building a women and children’s clinic in Tigray, supporting youth through a summer youth and family camp, and continuing to serve our local community through food drives, clothing donations, and outreach initiatives for families in need.

Her Promise Our Action

Nadia’s Promise was founded to honor a life rooted in compassion, dignity, and service. WHO WE ARE

Nadia's Promise is a community-driven initiative created to honor a legacy of compassion, care, and service to others.

Inspired by Nadia's life and the values she carried with her every day, our work focuses on supporting individuals and families through community outreach, acts of service, and initiatives that expand access to essential care.

Through every effort, we continue her promise by showing up for others with dignity, kindness, and intention.

HER STORY

Nadia was born on November 30, 1992, and was the third of eight sisters. She was known for her quiet strength, compassionate nature, and the genuine care she showed to everyone around her. She had a way of making people feel welcome, understood, and valued, often through the simplest gestures.

During her formative years in Egypt, Nadia studied Arabic and the Quran, experiences that helped shape her strong sense of faith, generosity, and service to others. Those values remained a guiding force throughout her life and were reflected in the way she approached both family and community.

Nadia had a special connection with children and found joy in being present for the people she loved. As an aunt, sister, daughter, and friend, she was someone others could depend on, offering encouragement, support, and kindness without hesitation. She believed that caring for others was not something reserved for special occasions, but something woven into everyday life.

Whether through her involvement in community initiatives, her dedication to Camp Tigray, or the countless ways she showed up for those around her, Nadia left a lasting impression on the lives she touched. Her legacy is reflected not in a single accomplishment, but in the compassion, generosity, and sense of community she inspired in others.

Today, Nadia's Promise carries that legacy forward, continuing the work she cared deeply about and creating opportunities to serve, support, and uplift others in her memory.
